Manuscript and printed items pertaining to the history of the Town and Village of Rhinebeck including letters, deeds, mortgages, petitions, legal papers, military papers, bills, receipts, certificates, programs, pamphlets, maps, and clippings. Subjects include railroads, tourism, Way's Crossing Cemetery, genealogy, Beekman family, Livingston family, the RHINEBECK GAZETTE, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, and the village of Rhinecliff. Other items include a transcript of the diary of William Traver, 1883-1867; oral history interviews with local residents, 1975-1976; reminiscences of Fannie Mann Sipperly Lienhard (b. 1908) about her life in Rhinebeck, 1979; and newsletters of the Milan Community Association, 1972-1974.
